Marine Corps Reserve Base

When construction began on the 400,000-square foot, 4-story U.S. Marine Reserve Base, Lapeyre Stair delivered the first stair tower early to provide construction crews with floor-to-floor access, thereby eliminating the need for additional scaffolding. From then on, stairs were delivered in stages, as needed, to meet Federal City’s construction schedule. Lapeyre Stair provided custom detailing and engineering for an 8-foot, 2-inch wide stair with center rails, and a 143-square foot platform. In total, Lapeyre Stair supplied Federal City with 6 egress towers, 16 landings, 155 feet of mezzanine rails, and 1 alternating tread stair.
